Most recordings range from 20-30 minutes. The mini version of the Inner Control Room is about 15 minutes.
The recordings are most effective if you make them a regular practice. Because you are creating a new neural pathway, which will reflect new patterns of behaviour and seeding new beliefs, you need to reinforce these new pathways. Your subconscious loves repetition! We recommend listening 3-4 times per week for optimal results.
Hypnosis can provide immediate results, but to reinforce and strengthen the changes made through neuroplasticity, repetition is key. You may notice a shift into more peace and calm by listening to go WTHN’s meditation once. However, we advise following the guidance within the neuroscience literature which states that rewiring the brain and creating a new strong neural connection generally takes 66 days - 10 weeks. Listening to the recordings is best with headphones, because this allows you to benefit most from the extra layer within the recordings, including binaural beats. Binaural beats are a form of brainwave entrainment, which simply means that your brain will naturally shift to match the frequency of the tones. We use tones in the alpha and theta range, which are associated with deep relaxation, creativity, receptivity, and dreaminess, all of which support you to benefit most from the hypnosis meditation and guidance to your subconscious mind. Do not listen to the recording while you are driving or operating machinery. Find a quiet space, take some deep breaths and give yourself permission to relax deeply. Give yourself the gift of your own time and intention.
Hypnosis is a state of immersion and absorption, often associated with relaxation and inner focus. You may have an image in your mind of hypnosis - a swinging pocket watch and a dazed look, but in reality, hypnosis is like deep meditation with a goal. You will enter a relaxed state, but maintain a level of awareness. Hypnotherapy simply allows the conscious, analytical mind to take a step back, and the subconscious mind to step forward.
